Haldon

Haldon Forest Park

Our Haldon rides generally start at the Haldon Gateway, the public area next to the main car park . Riding includes family rides and more technical "Red" and "Black" routes as well as the "Free Ride" area.

The terrain mixes wide access tracks with loose pebbly descents, flowing singletrack, stream crossings with the occasional boarded crossing, and shaded wooded sections.

Great but challenging 34 Km ride through different types of Dartmoor landscape with challenging climbs and fast singletrack descents. Watch out for Greator Rocks and the Nut Crackers!

Various wooded singletrack of varying quality and speed, often flowing and occasionally needing a degree of dexterity over the tree roots. Also includes fantastic views of the Exe Estuary extending out to sea.
